The nursery is not open on regular days but you are
welcome to come at any time from February to September but you need to
telephone first to check if we will be here (preferably ring before
9am or after dark).
The garden at Elworthy Cottage will be open 9 times
for the National Garden Scheme in 2024 when the nursery will also be
open.
For 2024
we will be opening for
the National Garden Scheme on the following days:-
Thursday 1st, Tuesday 13th and Thursday 27th
February, Monday 1st April (Easter Bank Holiday)
Tuesday 23rd April, Tuesday 25th June, Tuesdays 1st & 30th July,
and Monday 26th August.(August Bank Holiday Monday).
Opening times on NGS
days are 11.00am - 4.30pm.
Admission to the garden is £5.00 for adults,
children free; admission to the nursery is free.
When the garden is open for the NGS,
teas will be available in aid of the Children's Hospice South West.
Groups from HPS, Plant Heritage, CGS,
Gardening Clubs etc. are welcome to visit the garden by appointment
on weekdays or evenings. Coaches welcome.During the 2024
