The nursery is not open on regular days but you are
welcome to come at any time from February to September but you need to
telephone first to check if we will be here (preferably ring before
9am or after dark).
The garden at Elworthy Cottage will be open 11 times
for the National Garden Scheme in 2025 when the nursery will also be
open.
For 2025 we will be opening for
the National Garden Scheme on the following days:-
Wednesday 5th, Friday 14th & Tuesday 25th
February, Sunday 13th & Tuesday 22nd April, Monday 26th May,
Tuesday 24th June, Tuesdays 8th & Sunday 27th July, and Tuesday 5th
& Monday 25th August.(August Bank Holiday Monday).
Opening times on NGS
days are 11.00am - 4.30pm.
Admission to the garden is £5.00 for
adults, children free; admission to the nursery is free.
When the garden is open for the NGS,
teas will be available in aid of the Children's Hospice South West.
Groups from HPS, Plant Heritage, CGS,
Gardening Clubs etc. are welcome to visit the garden by appointment
on weekdays or evenings. Coaches welcome.
